1) Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari  launched India's first CNG tractor and said that it can help the farmers save over Rs 1 lakh annually on fuel costs.

9) Ministry of Civil Aviation has set a target of operationalising 100 unserved and underserved airports and starting at least 1,000 air routes under the UDAN scheme.  Privatisation is required in the field of aviation as it is not the government's specialisation to run airports.
