1) The Minister of Science & Technology Dr. Harsh Vardhan inaugurated the 2nd edition of Global-Bio India 2021. The event will provide recognition to India as an immerging hub of innovation and bio-manufacturing globally.

5) The 6th edition of the International Conference on Pharmaceutical & Medical Device sector was inaugurated by Union Minister of Railways, Commerce & Industry, and Consumer Affairs and Food & Public Distribution Piyush Goyal.

6) The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has appointed Woochong Um as its Managing Director General.

7) A landmark of the history of Puducherry, Marie Building was built by the French and it has now been rebuilt with the same building architecture, at a cost of about Rs. 15 crore.

👉The reconstructed Heritage Marie Building a landmark in the history of Puducherry has been inaugurated by the Prime Minister.

👉Pondicherry (or Puducherry), a French colonial settlement in India until 1954, is now a Union Territory town bounded by the southeastern Tamil Nadu state.

8) Panchkula will host the

13) The scientists of ICAR-National Rice Research Institute in Odisha's Cuttack have developed a solar pest management 'Alternate Energy Light Trap' device.

👉'Alternate Energy Light Trap' device will help in identifying and mass trapping of insects attacking crops.

14) In a boost for the country's surveillance capabilities to monitor activities of both military warships and merchant shipping in the Indian Ocean Region (IOR), the 'Sindhu Netra' satellite developed by a team of young scientists from Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) was successfully deployed in space.

👉The satellite was launched using the Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) PSLV-C51 which took off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh.
